The Military Academy, under the umbrella of bilateral relationships established by the Portuguese Army or through direct academic links with foreign similar schools, develops several exchange activities, such as:
- Cultural exchange with allied and partner countries military academies;
- Students exchange, for research and investigation purposes, military exercises participation and academic semesters attendance;
- Military Academies Commandants Annual Meetings and Seminars directed to Officers education.
- Faculty exchange, specifically in military areas of interest (not within ERASMUS + framework), such as leadership, tactics, military history an cybersecurity;
